Barbers & Barbers

In this work, consisting ofa selection of ten shots, I propose one of my favorite subjects: barbers. I find that they are very interesting while they are absorbed in taking care of their customers with their skilled hands, satisfying the most varied requests for beards and hair. In this series of images I wanted to highlight the strong differences and contrasts between western barbers and those of India, using black and white pictures as a symbol and representation technique of the modern, and color shots to represent strength, spirituality and ability of adaptation of barbers of india.
