Nashville NFL Draft 2019 - When We Were One

The submitted photos were taken on the second day of the 2019 NFL draft in Nashville. Even though I am not a football fan, I wanted to explore the spirit of community around sport as it was embraced by the hospitality and honkey tonks of Lower Broad. During our current state of isolation, these photos remind me of a moment when a hundred thousand people joined together to share their love and community regardless of the underlying divisions in our country. It gives me hope that we can someday get back to being "One Nation...".
