Urban Seascapes

Urban Seascapes are pictures of doors and walls of local businesses in Mexico City. The pictures aim to reflect the uncertain times we are living in, the risks of walking around outdoors and also the longing of traveling to the sea. Unlike a regular seascape photograph which usually conveys peace or calmness, these pictures are made in a dangerous city where taking a big camera out with a tripod represents risks The intense colors, typical of Mexico City, are also reflective of the strong emotions in the making of these photographs
