The roadside stop, whether to refuel, repair the truck, buy supplies for the journey ahead or the long periods of waiting for your next train, boat or taxi driver can become the moments you remember most. This series of portraits are all taken during these seemingly uneventful spaces between destinations on a recent trip through West Africa.
