Ambulantes in quarantine

The Pandemic due to COVID-19 has changed the way we live. For street vendors, or “Ambulantes” as we say to them in Colombia, their livelihoods have been threatened. In Colombia they do not have state aid and their activity is considered illegal. Despite the sanitary restrictions, they have no other option but to try to retail different products on the street in order to survive, an activity that some have done for generations, for them the street has been the place where they have grown up.
