Series - New York City - The Watchers and The Watched

While I was wandering and photographing the streets of Manhattan I often had the feeling of being watched and studied by the mannequins in the store front windows - I imagined them springing to life the moment no-one was looking and discussing the things they saw us doing day to day - very Toy Story and somewhat prescient for now we truly are being watched and studied in ways that we could never have imagined 20 years ago - though not I suspect by store front mannequins
