on the land that covers Crete, there are three main players, according to me (I mean, that is what I see):
1) Humans are building (usually) ugly artifacts
2) some land is still (or it seems so) unclaimed
3) regardless of the type of land, plants are GROWING.
There are cultivated ones, like those banana trees on the banana plantations (bananas grow in Crete - in Malia to be specific), or like a few perky tomatoes along the road, and of course the olive trees (which are just everywhere). Then, there are those that will sprout out, whatever may be, like all those wild dry flowers that can survive droughts in summer.
there is no higher philosophical scope in these pictures here - they are about colors, the afternoon light (all are taken after 5pm), Crete and the location harmony that can surface from all of this.
