Soft Air

Attempting to process these tumultuous times, the work reflects my desire for change. It is holding in place an unlikely moment, just before an unraveling, fraught with tension between fact and fiction. I'd like to think that my constructions can help to push events to the tipping point through the power of imagination. The work embraces the improbable, making attempts to be magical but also obvious and trite at the same time. I find beauty in efforts to push to the edge of believability, playfully poking at our preconceptions and ingrained logic.
