Betwixt Earth and Heaven

Propelled by a curiosity to understand the numinous nature of reality and our fugacious physical existence, I have used the ephemeral medium of paper and light to endeavour to create a space that enables the mind to connect and imagine a sense of place betwixt earth and heaven, an interstitial realm between the known and the unknown. The very process of constructing a temporal sphere which exists only for the time it takes to capture alludes to our own impermanence, while aspiring to apprehend the transitional juncture separating this world and what lies beyond.
