I have taken six trips to Cuba between January 2012 and June, 2015. Some of the photographs included here are in my book, “TransCuba”, published in 2014 by Daylight Books, others are images I made while travelling around Cuba with the three transgender women who are featured in the book, and another few were taken after the book was published. As a group, I believe they comment on Cuba as a country in gradual transition from strict Communism, to a more open form of Socialism.
