Traveling in Tuscany

This sequence is an excerpt of shots taken during a short trip through the Tuscan countryside of the Val D’orcia, of cities such as Siena, Pienza and Montalcino and the seaside areas of the town of Follonica. A job without many pretensions, which however made me reflect on the caducity and transience of our life. A countryside proud in its majestic beauty that almost seems to laugh at human tragedies is then contrasted by the people of the cities and the sea who in a phenomenal and almost voracious way live vacation days, almost as if they were the last. Covid 19 has not only killed people, but also the simple idea of tomorrow, the near future.
