This project explores simple, sometimes abstracted representations of views that made me travel mentally using multi-sensory imagery, during the Covid-19 outbreak and quarantine.
The series is a glorification of a small paradise I gradually started to notice, and appreciate; its details revealed themselves to my eyes when I became more observant.
Over time, I learned to fully experience the calmness and quietude of the place where I am living, which impacted my well-being by helping me to feel better during my healing stage.
It is a personal project I began as a means of documenting my self-isolation period and also as a therapy; in which I was practicing different mindfulness meditations aiming oneness with the environment, and capturing the elements of/and the landscape around me.
