Who can resist the allure of the natural beauty of Hokkaido or the night lights of Tokyo? But what about the mundane - the parts of life we take for granted?
It was a cloudy day in Osaka when I decided to capture the structure and order that appeared prevalent in suburban Japan. I realised that I derived a sense of calmness in these artifical, seemingly mundane constructs. The question remains though - is this a reflection of modern Japanese society?
