DIVISION AND SHARING- MATERA HOSPITAL

A work which has been finished in a really short time by the technical team of the management of Madonna delle Grazie Hospital of Matera. Timing, skills and circumstances, these have been the elements which characterized the covid-19 situation at Matera’s hospital. Areas isolated by a specific route dedicated to infected persons. In a facility which was already existing, the technical team redesigned and readapt two different routes: one route for ordinary patients and the other for Covid-19 infected, leading to the Triage, set up in two tents, which became a real hospital and helped to isolate the two kinds of patients in a very effective way. In a situation that was already auspicious with few cases of contamination, this arrangement made sure that the contaminated cases remained limited, that they didn’t increase and that they could be taken care of in a fast and professional way, separated from others.
