The Germinis

“The Germinis“ is a project that started in 2014 in Heidelberg (“Heidelzwerge“). Many photos of the project were taken in the hot summer of 2018, when the sky over Germany was almost always cloudless. Together with my miniature people I travelled from my home town Heidelberg to holiday resorts along the coast, to big cities like Hamburg, Berlin and Munich and to other sites of touristic interest, e.g. to the Black Forest, Neuschwanstein Castle and to Germany’s highest peak, the Zugspitze. I tried to show in the background the typical buildings and landmarks that a tourist would want to see and capture. The series consists of 80 pictures in total.
