MIdday Moon

This project is inspired by the book "Moon Beliefs and the Idea of Rebirth in Ancient Japan". This is a series of photographs of the sun during the day time to make it look like the moon, with the theme that what we believe might not be inherently not the case. In this book, the author draws on several references to show that Amaterasu that is considered to be the goddess of sun was essentially a goddess of the moon. We have a hypothesis that this is the case. In fact, even in our lives, due to mass media and mere assumptions. I think there are some things that are perceived or viewed differently than the facts.
