Flashes of Light

These 5 images are from a series called 'Flashes of Light', an on going project documenting my children's childhood & their relationship to each other. The project is a mental note to remember the fleeting magic of this time despite the challenges of parenthood. To root myself in the moment not in the to- do lists. To stay present and let the mad, loud, unruly chaos flow over me, not sweep me away. The title 'Flashes of Light' is a reference to Anais Mitchell's song 'Cosmic American' which was on a mix tape my now husband made me when we first started dating.
