This project came about quite by accident when taking photos for refine the focus of our devices, looking at the first photographs, we realized that Lady Gaga (this is the name we gave to mannequin we used for our shots) seemed to change expression in each photograph. Sometimes bored, sometimes dreamy, sometimes bewitching ... After a first moment of amazement, a strange connection was created with this female mannequin, without arms but with huge and intense eyes like those of a manga. Every change of light, shot, pose, she looked at us differently. We began to think that maybe he wanted to communicate something to us and that we couldn't bring her back to storage without first attempting to capture and to photograph what he wanted to tell us. Sometimes incredibly human, often beautiful and empty like a robot, she guided us into her world of appearance and exteriority but something in her gaze seemed to want to tell another story. Suggestion, introspection, extroversion or just reflection in a complex moment: who can say what it was?
