Ewan Lebourdais, a citizen reserve Lieutenant Commander for the French Navy, is above all a great lover of water sports and marine elements. Over the last few years, he has seen his passion for photography grow within this iodised universe, trying his hand at different style exercises until he found his own. Fascinated by the maritime universe in all its forms, the photographer has immortalised in his viewfinder a wide range of sea images, from the mythical frigate Hermione to the acrobatic figures of Breton windsurfers, not forgetting the "mastodons" of the French Navy, such as the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle and the nuclear submarines of Île Longue. Today known for his aesthetic fibre and his graphic approach, Ewan is now touching on his dream by publishing his fourth photographic work, retracing ten years of passion and encounters along the water. The photographs proposed for LensCulture are taken from this singular work.
