Caged examines wild animals in habitats designed by man to mimic their natural environments. Zoos and aquariums are changing from simply displaying animals to protecting them. As we take over the animal's natural environments, their cages become even more important, to protect the animals from man and keep the the species alive. It is man's encroachment on these environments that results in "Caged"
