LeavingHomeFunktion Home, Halle, Germany 7.11.2014

The German based art collective known for their project LeavingHomeFunktion allowed me into their home. LeavingHomeFunktion was an intercontinental trip across Russia to New York City riding breakdown inclined Soviet era sidecar motorcycles. I was interested in how that trip infused their inner lives and reflected in their surroundings and workspaces. Helmets and Ural parts shared their place with clothing, books and ongoing projects. Using a custom hand built 4x5 camera along with a 35mm Rangefinder I photographed their environs over two days.
