The photographic work is a photograph of constructed miniature scenes on a small scale, with a large-format analog camera. Scan of polaroid up to 84x110 cm print. Bøe's work thematizes an exploration of the landscape and nature, where he has developed his own methods for the use of photography in art. Bøe photographs with little depth of field, which obscures the topography in gradations into a vibrating abstract structure that dissolves in a cloud of haze on the horizon. Partially omits the horizon and removes any boundaries. A type of concrete reality, built into materiality and recognizable forms. Photographs show sections of a piece of nature, but which also show the clearly visible effects of human intervention and landscape design. An intersection between something beautiful and a destabilized zone.
