Dictadura

This project stands for 'Dictatorship', or in my mother tongue 'Dictadura'. In this century, after a time when we did not understand each other and destroyed souls and bodies, it was time to stop. Time to recover and time to breathe, with effort, intimacy, respect, and much care. In this century, and also after this moment of apparent peace, we have been living for some years in a world where individuality prevails over respect. Although we learned that it should be otherwise. People change, manipulate, evolve. But they remain the same deep down, even if they don't seem so. A canvas lacking in maturity, in mediocre and false individuality. The sense of things, of messages, of speeches, and therefore of opinion, has long since evolved into a dictatorship. A dictatorship of those mediocre people who know how to tell a story and polarize for their own benefit. Fate, although the narcotic and comfortably numb majority, does not cease to point to a pitiful image, like those who lead it. In the end, if one observes the situation from a bird's eye view, and with a certain level of abstraction, it can turn out to be an art form that is not understood, a way of expression that one does not want to assume, a way of understanding that every dictatorship, as long as it is chosen, is deserved. A day will come. We will look at the mediocre ones who feel safe, privileged, strong, irreverent, powerful, chosen, untouchable, and eternal, and we will put our hand on the canvas to paint a new picture, where those empty colors no longer exist. Those colors that should never have been on the palette. Even if we know that they will not disappear completely, like a virus, like the dictatorship of the hammer and sickle, inevitably.
