On the Human Inability of Resurrecting Things

This work is a critique on human attitudes that have disregarded natural areas and traditional cultures by focusing solely on ‘economic growth’. One example of these attitudes is the damming of rivers for hydropower in Brazil. The intervention I make with textiles in the reservoir emphasises the impossibility of bringing back to life ecosystems and livelihoods as free-flowing rivers are confined.
