Independence Day

My projects use photography and archival material as a point of departure for conceptually based projects that question perspectives of history, memory, and place. Projects re-contextualize found research material, images, and micro-narratives. Wall installations intermix resources within the construct of narrative works. Visual stories explore notions of interior/exterior as psychological landscapes rework personal constructs of identity and attachment to place. Projects build on scaffolds of open-ended meaning as images juxtapose with extracted traces to suggest unfolding, enigmatic accounts.
