“We are what we eat”

Sometimes when we look at the food we are about to eat, we can recognise a part of what makes up our body, depending on our imagination. With this project I try to describe the creation of our body, from the first signs of life (cells and blood) to birth. I have done this using fruit, vegetables and one egg and all shots were captured in camera with minimal adjustment in post production. Different photographic techniques have been used throughout, ranging from light painting to macro-photography. This project was completed for my final portfolio for the Diploma of Photography & Photo Imaging.
