I'm a photographer based in Sydney.
Born in Caltagirone, a little town in Sicily, I moved to Palermo where I studied and obtained a degree in Architecture. During this time I discovered my passion for photography.
In 2015 I moved to Sydney to change my lifestyle and dedicate myself to my passion - photography.
Since arriving, I have embedded myself in the photographic community - attending courses in photojournalism and lighting at the Australian Centre for Photography, and have had the good fortune of working across many interesting briefs as a freelance photographer.
In 2016 I was awarded a silver medal in the "Tokyo International Foto Awards" competition for my "NoWestConnex" project, in the category for editorial - general news professionals. This project was also exhibited as part of the Head On Photo Festival 2017.
Trained as an architect and photographer, the intersection of disciplines has given me a unique eye and ability to apply design principles and techniques to create stunning and unforgettable images.
My body of work includes portraits, corporate work, food, ceremonies, fashion and photojournalism.
