People watching has often been referred to as street theater. If you are willing to really look, there is so much drama unfolding in front of our eyes. I decided to pick famous streets like Hollywood Boulevard and historic locations such as The Mall in Washington DC and photograph the action at each place for a set amount of time. Twenty Minutes seemed like a reasonable duration of time. Twenty minutes is more than a glimpse and short enough to be a challenge, since if you stand just about anywhere long enough something is bound to happen. Though the length of play acts is not fixed, twenty minutes is about the average amount of time for one act of a three act play. This is what I saw across America in 20 minute increments.
