Last Day on a Chain, Stories of Compassion, Salvation and Misperceptions is a unique and uplifting photo-documentary featuring fight dog rescues, sheltering and rehabilitation, and adoptions into loving homes. The book features 36 rescued victims of dog fighting and their families. It pays homage to the rescuers, shelter workers and adopters.
What I witnessed and photographed inspired me to publish this book. Last Day on a Chain is hard cover with over 200 images and144 pages told in a first-person narrative. I raised more than $28,000 from more than 400 donors from around the world on Kickstarter to fund publication of the book in June 2019.
