Eyes Experiencing Everything in Her Own Environment

Self portraits taken during the 2020 pandemic in my house and garden at different times of the year. Texture, colour, light, shade are highlighted. My eyes are the main focus in order to emphasize different thoughts and emotions. All the images have been taken on a laptop at night during three different Saturdays evenings in June, September and November 2020. Main objective of the project is to experiment with taking both myself and the audience on a journey over those evenings away from the confines of four walls and a patio garden to other worlds and feelings of nostalgia of what "normal" Saturday nights used to be pre 2020 pandemic. Feelings of frustration, boredom, fear, contemplation etc are portrayed using cinematic influences and references to the 1940's and 1970's. The use of creative writing enhances the images to describe the emotions felt and a story to be told allowing the viewer to interpret the photos in different ways.
