Protests in Manhattan over the murder of George Floyd reached a fever pitch March 31st, when they began to turn violent. I moved from Minneapolis to Brooklyn a few months before, and felt very helpless watching my old city burn, while under lock down in my new city. So I went to Manhattan and followed the crowds for days, just to feel less helpless. All of these pictures were taken in Manhattan, over the course of 36 hours, between March 31st and June 1st.
