Balinese people pray to the ocean.
They walk on the beach every morning praying for their family, healthy and prosperous life, and peace in their mind and also for the world.
Their prayers flow into raging waves and join the tide, flying along with crushing wind.
Stray dogs join the old man in chanting prayers.
Their prayers gather in the air and fly together to reach somewhere.
White waves and volcanic ash create deeper contrast of black and white.
Some burnt offerings flow back into the land, touching my toes.
My prayers also float away with the waves.
