Bi-U-Da is a verse in Korean language, meaning "to empty".
The world that we live in is filled with too many objects, like buildings, cars, people, etc., and our eyes easily feel tired.
My project focuses on the photos that take us to a moment of peace and tranquility in our mind and heart, through 'emptying' rather than filling up. This work is something like drawing an oriental ink-and-wash painting to me, which is characterized by leaving the space open, rather than being filled with various colors or shapes.
I hope my photos can present the viewers the peace of mind.
