Light painted portraits
A series of light painted portraits, using a range of light pens, torches, and light toys. My sitters remain motionless throughout a long, slow exposure, as I literally "paint" the light around the face and head. Each subject receives a unique and unrepeatable "choreography" of light which aims to honour their uniqueness, within a collaborative and trusting experience.
