The winter of our discontent

These were taken in Sweden in the winter of 2021. The pandemic was everywhere that there were people. But out in the forests and by the lakes there was some kind of escape for a while. I don't look for 'beautiful vistas' but prefer to seek out some kind of alternative meaning or allusion in what nature simply presents to us without any obvious drama. A reflective pause in the worries of the everyday life we all now experience.
