HPA Performance Award 2017, China

Sunday Palm, Costa Rica Style. This series were selected for the Performance Award from the category Traditional Rites. The contest was opened by the Humanity Photo Awards in China, 2017. In Costa Rica is a tradition to celebrate Sunday Palm. In Moravia, the Priest, people, musicians and kids (disguised as jewish people) walk behind a sculpture of Jesus Christ with palms in their hands, it happens before the Mass. Inside de church, it is a tradition to walk with the sculpture over the shoulders before celebration starts and finally sing and pray with our Palms to remember Christ life.
