Metamorphosis

I started to create this project during isolation. This is a story about the feelings that I experienced when the familiar world began to change and society began to change along with this world. My family and I faced new realities - emigration, isolation, precarity, unemployment ... These new realities launched the mechanism of my inner transformation. I began to feel useless and helpless. Like Gregor Samsa in the Kafka's novel Metamorphoses. Like an insect, a parasite, unable to do anything. The transformation process was similar to the Metamorphosis of an insect, when, in order to implement new functions, it becomes a completely different creature, an imago. I began to observe this process and record it with a camera. I also used other mediums to create this project - collage, installation, archival photography. In the process of working on the project, I tried to answer questions. Who am I now? Will I be able to adapt to new realities? What will this society be like when those who are now sitting in their cocoons finally hatch?
