During the second lockdown when all of my commercial work had dried up I wanted to shoot a personal project to reflect the time that we found ourselves in. Tired of images of people staring out of windows, I wanted to focus on what the positive outcomes of the pandemic would be such as, the ability to work from home. Calling upon friends and family who lived locally I began to explore what this new normal had become for them and how their homes had now become their work places.
My work has always been about capturing the unusual moments in life with a sense of humour and playful approach. I wanted to show how as individuals we have adapted and to the changes that had been thrust upon us due to the pandemic and what this new normal looks like to us all.
