I'm a since mother of two. I've been photographing my daughters at home before the pandemic but now that we have all slowed down the pace of life my way of photographing them has changed. There is almost a dismissive presence to the camera. The camera doesn't act as an annoyance to my pre teen and teenaged daughters anymore. They are able to continue being themselves without performance or need to satisfy me. The pandemic has been really hard on them. They have missed a year of school and miss their friends. There has never been a time that we have felt this close. We now know ultimately, at least we have each other.
