“In the attitude of silence the soul finds the path in a clearer light, and what is elusive and deceptive resolves itself into crystal clearness. ”
Gandhi
Lorenzo is a nearly 5-year-old child who lives with his parents in Milan and who belongs to that generation of about 10 million children and young people who lived the endless 69 days of the first Italian lockdown at home.
Suddenly, he no longer attended school and met his friends; he could not see his grandmothers, his uncles, his cousins, except through a screen.
Of course, in those days he lived his moments of art, architecture, haute cuisine; he played sports on the balcony, sang, played and danced.
But Lorenzo lived the most important experience, in the "nest / cage" house, in its silences, which are fundamental for his growth and for the construction, within himself, of a world full of rare beauty.
