My photographs recorded to capture mental and physical images at Berkeley Korean Methodist Church in California.
I believe the home church is an important place in American immigration life. It is not simply the meaning of the church, but the identity and culture of Koreans. Korean-American children raised in the United States learn Korean and naturally learn to understand and connect with the bilingual culture. As the meaning of the family in the East and West differs in the form of the house, customs, and habits according to the meaning of the family, the religion of Korean immigrants is from the West, but the tradition of the family is from Korean. As a result, the Korean-American home culture was born from a unique culture For example, every year in the United States, This Korean New Year is a Korean tradition and a special event held in the church. If the younger person is the older person and bows a big bow, the children's parents comfort them and give them a small amount of money.
But after the pandemic, I think a lot has changed. Most Korean

My concern is that the home church is an important community in the life of Korean immigrants. I fell away from my homeland for a while, but I am comforted by the Korean church as I miss my country when I want to return home.
