The story of life under lockdown is often told from the perspective of the grownups struggling and striving to make ends meet in these uncertain times.
Rarely do we see it through the eyes of the little people that surround so many of us. Since "the naughty virus" (as my daughter calls it) her world of playdates, parties and playgrounds has vanished and in its place a shrunken world where stuffed toys stand in for friends, parents for teachers and Siri for conversation.
Last year, I documented a few months of her confinement. I wanted to examine the impact of all of this on my daughter. Experts have warned us that children will suffer from the loneliness and isolation lockdown has created.
However, we don't know the longterm effect all this will have on their mental health. Only time will tell.
