The story of pipes is a self-reflective collection of banality. It simply started when I noticed some intimate connections between mundane elements in the streets and myself. There was something in the loneliness of a rusted pipe sitting along the sidewalk against a tall wall. There was something in the constraints of the other one, the simplicity of the next, the complexity or angularity of the others etc.
This series is a collection of photos of different pipes in the streets and alleys of New York City. This is an on-going project.
