Family Portraits

From the moment in 2006, when I purchased my Linhof 4" x 5" view camera for the Religion Today project, I also started shooting family portraits with that camera. Commissioned family portraits, but also of my own family and the family of my wife Florence Genet in France at important moments in their lives. Moments like the death of my mother in Heino 2011 or leaving the parental home by my parents-in-law in Le Havre 2007. Through family ties, it is possible to photograph at times that an outsider would not be allowed.
