The L_st Album

‘The L_st Album,’ is a project that sprung from Pariwat’s intimate relationship with collecting and treasuring portrait albums. Some albums were out-of-place intentionally, others unintentionally, while some were lost in transport, leaving tricycle riders no choice but to put it up on the secondhand market. Pariwat collected all these from antique shops all over Bangkok, and obviously, he does not know any of these folks personally. It is safe to say that ‘The L_st Album’ is a project with bits and pieces of Pariwat’s explorative imagination, in hope to spark a connection of the lost portraits into creating its own outlet of emotional expressions through love and affection within the state of ‘family/home’, the so-called smallest unit in the society. Hoping maybe one of these days, the owners of these portraits might finally cross paths to relive their long lost memories.
