In search for a better life

This is an ongoing documentary photography series of refugees in search for a better life, kept in a refugee detention centre in Malta. I did not take the photos with a long lens, but spoke to each and everybody of them and was profoundly touched by their stories and wishes.... I tried to express their feelings in my photography.
