Lavoir á Charbon

Located in the South of France, this abandoned coal wash plant illustrates a valued industrial activity, so important and productive in its times, was discarded years later because of becoming obsolete and dangerous. In its present state, we can also learn how Nature takes back and reconquer those remains of a human activity that was so invasive and destructive of that same Nature. Not to mention its intrinsic beauty, somehow so similar to many other archaeological ruins, now present witness of past times.
