This is a series of photographs taken during two ferry trips in Thailand. Ferries have always inspired and attracted me visually and seemed like a great material for a film.
One part of the series is a non-literal story in which it is a little difficult to figure out what is happening behind the glass and what is happening in its reflection and I like this non-obvious situation which forces the viewer to look deeper into the pictures.
In the other photos we see people in some kind of suspension and contemplation, more graphic and nostalgic.
In this whole series, the mood, the light and the composition are more important to me than the need to see the faces of the people in the frame.
It is a story about a journey in a universal way and I would like each viewer to be able to imagine their own story added to this series.
