Sumptuous Ordinary

These images are part of a long-term photographic exploration into common objects and materials. The materials are often found or sourced from charity-shops, so they have a rather uncertain or unknown history. I see the project as a celebration of ordinary, overlooked matter, and as such are part of a quite long still-life, or vanitas tradition.
