The pictures are part of a series taken in Florida and California in Spring 2015. During this trip, I was fascinated by the seeming ordinariness of those houses. They actually tell many stories and many lives. Each one of them is an attempt - a successful attempt - to transform an unremarkable architecture into a unique and personal one. A tree, the colour of a sunscreen or a door, a parked car, transform the ordinary into unique. In those pictures, characterized by the same frame and colours, I want to tell the stories hidden behind this apparent uniformity.
